Getting There

Many years, many trips. All variations on comfortable places we know well. Hotel, Bed and Breakfast, big tents, little tents. In the bush and in holiday resorts. Now we have settled in England it's time to get out there, do a little exploration and see what the place is all about. Perhaps it's just a day trip, perhaps a week or two away.

Our aim is not the big city, glossy hotel. Rather a small place, some interesting history, walks, and perhaps a beach, if the sun is out. It is amazing how many people we meet who's idea of a holiday is a trip to the continent, but who have never seen their own land.

As campers, it is easy to get away at a moment's notice. Often that takes one to an interesting place, rather than a resort. Of course the camera is a must!
