Abbereiddi Watch Tower

The watch tower situated on a promontory at Abbereiddi, with the blue lagoon on the right.
the purpose of the watch tower is no longer known. It is thought that it may have been the boardroom of the slate mine, or used by the managers wives as a social meeting place. Walking access is no longer possible due to collapse of parts of the path into the sea.
