Mavuradona Wilderness Area. Situated on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Zambezi Valley, the Mavuradona Wilderness area is home to elephant and a number of species of buck. Over the years we have spent many days camping here and walking the many paths. On a clear day from some of the hills it is possible to see the Cahora Bassa Dam in Mozambique.
A special Mavuradona memory was the solar eclipse in 2001.
