Trees at Mare Dam

A view across the mare dam. Since this picture was taken the trees have died from disease and the land is being allowed to return to its natural savanna state.
Mare Dam has long been a popular fly-fishing spot, with lodges and cottages provided by the Zimbabwe National Parks authorities.
